Localhost / Development

Master in one htdocs folder, School in another. Path-based URLs (localhost/master/public, localhost/school/public). For local dev/testing.

VPS Single Server Recommended

Master, School apps and all databases on same server. Master at root domain (example.com), schools on subdomains (jc.example.com).

VPS Multi-Server Enterprise

Master on one server, School on different server(s), databases on separate server(s). Best for high availability and scaling.

VPS Hybrid Server

Master and School apps on same server, but databases on separate server(s). Good balance of simplicity and database isolation.
